I just hope that people do pause to think about the fact that Poland and Hungary and Romania are freely accepting Ukrainian refugees without visas, while they were so unwilling to take Afghan refugees that the threat of Afghan refugees was actually WEAPONIZED by Belarus against them. And that Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and Iran also closed their borders after the fall of Afghanistan and deported Afghans who were caught crossing the borders without proper visas (which were not then being issued to them).
